THE LIE OF ARMENIAN GENOCIDE

07-06-2010
Istanbul's Chamber of Commerce published the report of Armenia's First Prime Minister Hovhannes Katchaznouni that he presented in a party conference in 1923. I want to share some parts from this book which is published in Turkish, English, German and French languages;
The book is not a novel or fiction. It is a real documentary. It is a historical document that reveals the truth about 1915 Armenian issue through the report of an eye witness. This historical report of the first PM of Armenia is forbidden in Armenia. It is known that Dashnaks collected these books also from the libraries in Europe. The name of the books exists in catalogs but it can't be found on shelves.
In the begining of his report Katchaznouni stresses that he prepared report after a long period of consideration. He knew that his report will irritate many people. Asking Dashnak delegations in the conference to patiently listen to him, Katchaznouni said;
- It was a mistake to establish armed volunteer troops during the World War One.
- They were unconditionally loyal to Russia
- They did not calculate the power balance which was towards Turks
- The decision of deportation was complying with its aim.
- Turks was moving with the instinct of defence
- English occupation after 1918 revived the Dashnak hopes towards independence
- Dashnaks had established a dictatorship in Armenia
- They massacred Muslim population

TURKISH HIT TV SERIES TO MAKE FILM ABOUT KARABAKH

21-03-2010
Turkish hit TV series Kurtlar Vadisi (Valley of the Wolves) is to make a film concerning the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict over Karabakh.
The film Kurtlar Vadisi-Qarabag will be made by Pana Film, producers of the Valley of the Wolves series and films.
The film crew and actors are already in Azerbaijan. Popular Turkish actor Necati Sasmaz, who plays Valley of the Wolves hero Polat Alemdar, is amongst them, local media report.
The Valley of the Wolves series and films have broken viewer records in Turkey.
They have not been without controversy. When an episode of the current series, Kurtlar Vadisi-Pusu (Valley of the Wolves: Ambush) showed Israeli agents mistreating a Turkish child and shooting an old man, the Israeli government complained of bias in the programme.

LOCAL CHANNELS BOOST ARMENIAN INITIATIVE

18-01-2010
A local initiative in the northeastern city of Kars to develop Turkish-Armenian relations is moving strongly ahead as national efforts lag.
Two local television stations from both sides of the border between Turkey and Armenia, Kars’ Serhat TV and Lori TV from the Armenian city of Gyumri, are supporting the normalization process between the two countries by collaborating on an exchange of television programs.
Serhat TV is the first and only local TV station in Kars. It is owned by former mayor Naif Alibeyoðlu.
The project aims to break down prejudices between the two nations, said Serhat TV coordinator Alican Alibeyoðlu, who added that a substantial proportion of the people support the opening of the border gates.
To help the two nations learn more about each other and to promote the cities of Kars and Gyumri, a team of five people from Lori TV first came to Kars in August. The team filmed footage and interviews with people to promote Kars and broadcast its documentary program in Gyumri. After this, Lori TV then invited a four-person team from Serhat TV to visit Armenia in December.
